Every Saturday in July at Chardon Farmers Market

Starting this first Saturday in July, we will be adding some fresh specialty peppers. On July 2nd we will have some fresh paprika peppers and some of our new pollenated variety Blaz’n Jellybean peppers.

The Blaz’n Jellybean is for those that like it at the Top of Hot. These 3/4″ to 1″ long peppers come in at about 350,000 Scoville. That is our estimate since we haven’t had it formally tested but, the Peruvian White Habanero, which is the Jellybean original pepper, is rated at 300,000 to 350,000 Scoville.

We will have each pepper in limited quantities for the markets.

New This Week: Blaz’n Wings and More Rub

We are introducing the Blaz’n Wings and More Rub that all those that want the high heat have been asking for. This rub is a blend of our Cher Smoked Chocolate Habaneros, our Scorpions, a tad of the Blaz’n Jellybean and some other spices. This should be the high heat that some folks have been requesting.
